To me blogs are kind of frustrating things. Harder to get traffic to than I thought and much harder to monetize than I thought. Word Press doesn’t really make it to easy to make money.
Sure there are lots of plugins and themes. Problem is some plugins brak other plugins and some themes break plugins. Getting everything to work together can be a pita.
After you get past making your blog look the way you want and do what you want then you need to start making money with it. There are a few plugins around to help with that. However I’d suggest you take a short course to familiarize yourself with php. You are going to need to edit some code one day.
I see that some porn paysites are starting to offer things for blogs. Got one the other day from peekshows and other now have rss feeds. I may even out one or two on here. The biggest problem I see with blogs on the adult side is it’s hard to find adsense like things that are simple to install, use and that make money.
Anyway, Mark Joyner has a free blogging course that I’m going to try. I’m still young enough to learn and this course might have a few things in it I could use. It’s free and I don’t get anything for sending you there. Just something I’m going to try and see what happens.
